Now that brought back some fond memories... when I was fortunate enough to have worked with some outstanding Talents developing Educational Software for Apple. It was a time when anything was possible... at least that's how it felt for all of us under contract with Random House's Landmark Software. Chuck Carlson, Landmarks Fearless Publisher and Cathy Leeds... The Most Talented Art Director I've ever had the pleasure to work with, achieved what few would dare back then... and made working with Landmark Software a place in time to Remember.... The MAC sure has come a long way since then.... Many thanks to Apple for keeping it simple... and Living The Dream...

               The Dreamer
Copyright 1994 Michael Gibbowr

      Those who Dream by night
Wipe the slumber from their eyes
      Then pick up the routine
Of their daily lives
But those who Dream by day
They’re a different breed
You know them by their speech
And get inspired by their deeds

      ‘Cause it’s the Dreamer
Who makes this world a better place
      And it’s the Dreamer
Who really sets the pace
Doing things that ain’t been done before
Never settling for second best
      Always striving for more

      From the incandescent light
To the first manned flight
The telephone to the Model – T
It’s the Dreamer who’s made history
Simple folks just like you and me
Who dared to pay the price
      To make their Dreams reality

      So never fear your fear
Always embrace your pain
      Know that should you falter
In it there’s no shame
‘Cause when you do the deed
That you’ve been Dreaming of
      You’re no longer average
You’re a cut above

      Yes, it’s the Dreamer
Who makes this world a better place
      And it’s the Dreamer
Who really sets the pace
Doing things that ain’t been done before
Never settling for second best
      Always striving for more
So don’t you settle for second best
      Life offers so much more

Awesome, awesome stuff. Great showmanship. He let the product be the star. And the crowd was better than an Oprah studio audience.
