I tried a original kindle once - but found reading it painful. I'm somewhat dyslexic (mainly dysgraphic). The text on the original kindle started floating and doing cartwheels in the air. I haven't been able to try reading on a New Kindle, but even if I like it I don't know if I like the price. So far I find reading on the I-Pod Touch easy.
