<description>A a podcast reviewer in -especially- history, I can confirm this observation: podcasts/ courses in classical history are in high demand.
As to the excellent course by Donald Kagan at Yale, it can be added that this course is also available as podcast these days. Through iTunes U, one can subscribe. For regular listeners to podcasts, the advantage is to have Professor Kagan&#039;s lectures in the podcast directory and with the setting &#039;remember playback position&#039; on iTunes and in iPod, as opposed to having them as regular music files.
The feed is http://oyc.yale.edu/classics/introduction-to-ancient-greek-history

More excellent Yale courses are reviewed at my blog: http://anneisaman.blogspot.com/2009/07/open-yale-course-feeds-game-theory-and.html
