    So I guess the other options to the bike lane are in car lanes, which in NYC (visited) I imagine to be instant death, and on the sidewalk. In the video, he is riding past scaffolding and other hazards on the sidewalk! So I really don’t understand his point. There are hazards everywhere, you act like a reasonable human and go around them. As a pedestrian or a driver … or a cyclist, I want bicycles in the bike lane.
