The Doobie Brothers Sing Their 1974 Classic, “Black Water,” Live, in Isolation

The Doobie Brothers–they can’t tour this summer and celebrate their 50th anniversary. But they can give you this: a performance of 1974’s “Black Water” performed virtually, live, in isolation. Make sure you catch the fan contributions toward the end…

Hi from New Zealand. Managed to catch one of their concerts here in NZ but would be rapped if they come back again. One of the all time best bands ever. Been a fan from the 70’s. Keep rockin’ and stay safe.

This brought tears to my eyes. Saw this great group often in the 70s. It was my boyfriend’s and mine “band”. Some of my pride possessions are the concert drumsticks and guitar picks he sent me in recent years. I will be devastated with the August concert cancelation. Love you

Splurged on tickets to attend the June concert in Raleigh, NC. It was going to be a grand long weekend road trip for my husband and me (70-somethings, so THIS was going to be nirvana for us). Alas. SO disappointed…but happy to watch and re-watch this video as a bit of mournful/joyous recompense.
