Actu­al­ly, it’s hilar­i­ous!
It’s what Edward de Bono would call a “lat­er­al pat­tern switch”. He claims humour is the most sig­nif­i­cant thing humans do. It’s how you would thwart AI; defeat the Tur­ing test.
If you can­not see the fun­ny side then like the “vic­tim” you prob­a­bly take your­self and every­thing else in your life too seri­ous­ly. I sus­pect Chom­sky was­n’t offend­ed else he would­n’t allow it to be aired?
Laugh­ing is good for your health, and laugh­ing hard at abstract humour is both phys­i­cal­ly and intel­lec­tu­al­ly sat­is­fy­ing.
