Free e-Book of Chris Anderson’s “Free”

Chris Anderson, the Wired Magazine Editor who is best known for The Long Tail, has published his latest book, Free: The Future of a Radical Price. You can buy it on Amazon, or read a free version on Scribd. As you may know, this book has already generated some controversy. To begin with, Anderson has had to answer charges that he plagiarized material from Wikipedia. And then Malcolm Gladwell (the author of Outliers, The Tipping Point and Blink) gives Free a rough review in The New Yorker.

PS You can now download an audio version as a free zip file here.

Dan, please do a follow-up post next week when the Kindle/other ebook versions are released.

Geez, I really like your website…you have led me to many treasures…but, I must be dumb…I can’t figure out how to get Free for free from Google…and Scribd seems to be USA only, I am in Thailand…
Thanks for any follow-up, I imagine others are having some trouble, too.

Thanks again for a trove of treasure for an old teacher and young students.

Hi, great website, but what was true of the Audiobook (thanks for the links!) is true for the digital download book: US only, for Scribd and Google books.

  • Lucas Braun says:

I would Flattr his books if I could!
