History of Modern Philosophy: A Free Online Course

This 23-lec­ture course, His­to­ry of Mod­ern Phi­los­o­phy, was taught by Pro­fes­sor John DePoe at Mary­wood Uni­ver­si­ty in the Spring of 2014. The course cov­ers Descartes, Leib­niz, Locke, Berke­ley, Hume, and Kant.  And it “con­cen­trates on the devel­op­ment of mod­ern thought, exam­in­ing the con­cepts of mind, body, and cau­sa­tion among oth­ers.”

His­to­ry of Mod­ern Phi­los­o­phy will be added to our list of Free Online Phi­los­o­phy cours­es, a sub­set of our meta col­lec­tion, 1,700 Free Online Cours­es from Top Uni­ver­si­ties.
