  • Isn’t there a sto­ry about Greeks bear­ing gifts — or have I mixed things up?
    Yes and there a par­al­lels here. There comes a point when pour­ing mon­ey into a black hole becomes point­less. Boom & bust, eco­nom­ic cycles and mov­ing goal posts comes to mind.
