Today, we’re revisÂitÂing a clasÂsic MonÂty Python skit. The scene is the 1972 Munich Olympics. The event is a football/soccer match, pitÂting GerÂman philosoÂphers against Greek philosoÂphers. On the one side, the GerÂmans — Hegel, NietÂzsche, Kant, Marx and, um, Franz BeckÂenÂbauer. On the othÂer side, Archimedes, Socrates, PlaÂto and the rest of the gang. The refÂerÂee? ConÂfuÂcius. Of course.
Enjoy!
