Landmark Moments in Film: Apocalypse Now

Share

What do you get here? We’ve posted below a 7+ minute clip from Francis Ford Coppola’s Academy Award-winning film on the Vietnam War from 1979. It features the famous “Ride of the Valkyries” scene.  It’s worth a look, but I would actually recommend watching this longer, 18 minute clip here, which includes the Valkyries scene and takes you to “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.” (We unfortunately couldn’t embed the longer clip on our site.)

To see Apocalypse Now in full, you can buy the film here or rent the movie from Netflix.
